Join us to learn all about the Venture For America Fellowship and hear from two Alumni guest panelists!
Â
Venture For America aims to mobilize the next generation of entrepreneurs and equip them with experience, training, and community to become startup leaders and founders. During the two-year Fellowship, our Fellows are salaried, full-time employees at startups or high-growth companies in one of our 13 cities.
Â
Through the program, Fellows find lifelong friends, an entrepreneurial community, and a network of individuals to help take their career and ambitions to the next level. We’ll walk you through our mission, how Fellows find their job, plus the programming, community, and resources, followed by a Q&A with our panelists.
Hear the stories of startup leaders who got their start with Venture for America and gain insight into how the Fellowship shaped their entrepreneurial careers.
Ayah Rashid graduated from New York University Abu Dhabi with a major in Literature and Creative Writing.
Â
Knowing she always wanted to be in the entrepreneurship space, she was encouraged by her best friend to apply to become a Venture For America Fellow her senior year of college, and joined the Class of 2019. Ayah continues to be passionate about VFA and its new direction as a member of the Talent Team.
Â
She is extremely excited to build the next class of startup leaders and can’t wait to have an impact on an organization that so positively influenced her life.
At Venture For America, we envision a country where anyone who wants to be an entrepreneur can.
We bring this vision to life with a two-year Fellowship for recent college graduates interested in entrepreneurship and creating an impact in American cities. Fellows apply for jobs at startups and high-growth companies within our private job portal, learn important startup skills starting at our summer Training Camp, and work as full-time, salaried employees in one of our 13 cities. We believe that some of the best learnings come through experience, so throughout the Fellowship and after, we provide programming to help Fellows grow into startup leaders and founders.
